Pumpkin Painting

This weekend we bought our pumpkins and instead of carving we decided that it would be better to paint them. We had Brenna and Aubrie come over and join us.

Aubrie started right away, and Mason was a little unsure at first but then he got right the art work!

Mason wanted to paint Aubrie and she didnt like that idea

Mason loved the painting idea I am glad that I thought of that...This is will the activity until he is old enough to carve.

The kids had so much fun... and of course the pumpkins were beautiful!!!

Mason decided he would eat some of the paint and thats why his lips are black!!!

We are going to be doing alot of crafts during the holidays with Brenna and Aubrie!!!

Hard Working Man

Mason loves this tractor that he got for his birthday, even though he is a little daredevil on it he is so cute.

He uses it as a step stool to try and get stuff from the entertainment center, and he tires to get in the dog cage with it... So we are thinking about getting him a power wheel for Christmas!

His litte feet dont touch the ground so he cant push himself on it, so he just sits and stands on it!!!

Its amazing how fast they grow!



Hair

Since the day that Mason was born he has had a head full of hair, we had little trims here and there done on it, and then one day we decided that we would cut it short... the biggest regret ever, I miss his hair and I would do anything to get it back... His hair has since grown back but it is not the same fine baby hair... Mason's hair is now uncontrolable... even if we put gel in his hair, it will only stay tammed until he takes a nap...

This is what Mason's hair looks like when he gets out of the bath... Like I said it is uncontrolable...

But it is the cutest hair ever!!!

Mommy and Me

The past few days have been getting pretty cold, on Friday night we went to a party with my mom and her boyfriends family, thank goodness we had a jacket for Mason because it was cold... I was thinking this time last year I never really had to worry about what he was dressed in because we were able to just cover him up in the carseat and just zip up the little cover... Mason had never had a jacket on until the night of the party...

He was unsure what to think or do... he could barely feed himself his watermelon because the jacket was to big for him to put his hand to his mouth!!!! It was cute

I rarely get a chance to take pictures of me and Mase... but then I realized that with the iPhone it has the thing where you can fip the camera... I realized that Mason loves to look at us when we are taking pictures and he always wants to try and touch his face on the camera... its cute!!!

I dont know why the picture is blurry but here we are taking pictures with Mason trying to touch our faces in the camera!!!

I love being a mom its the greatest thing in the world... I thank god everyday for giving me the gift a being a mother!!!

Mason and Evan

I know that I have posted 3 times today but now I am all caught up...

This is Mason's favorite cousin Evan... When Evan comes over Mason loves to play with him and Evan loves playing with him to... Evan and Mason do some random things together... This being one...

It makes me happy to know that Mason's Auntie Virg and her boys Evan and Xavier
love Mason so much. Mason loves them just as much!!! 

Since the day Mason was born he has been growing into his own person and I can not explain the way it makes me feel to see him learn and change everyday... He is so cute he does this cute little thing, he makes himself laugh and he will then cover his mouth... He has turned into his own person and it makes me so happy!!!

We went to get Ice cream last night, and since Mason had never had his own ice cream so I thought why not let him try and let him feed himself.... and he did so good and he ate the whole thing, it was so cute he loved it, I am going to have to buy the stuff to make him his own cones at home!

State Fair Time

This past weekend we went to the State Fair, and this was Masons first time because last year I thought that he was to little to take out into all the dirt. We took him to see all the animals and he loved the cows he was even helping his favorite Auntie Virg feed the cows.

Then we took him to the petting zoo, and he was unsure about the animals, he didnt want to get that close at the petting zoo, we wanted him to feed some of them and he wanted nothing to do with it! All he wanted to do was look at them, so me and Eric were the ones left to feed them!!!

Mason had a great time he loved to see all the lights from the rides and was so happy to be there that by the end of the night he was really tired!

We can not wait until next year when he will be a little bit older, and he will be able to enjoy it a little more.

We had a great time as a family!

Happy First Birthday Mason

I cant believe that it has already been a year, it seems like yesterday we were at the hospital having Mason, he sure did make a grand entrance into the world not breathing and having to go into NICU. Mason was born on August 31 2010 but was not able to come home until September 4, 2010. I am so glad that Mason has remained healthy. He has grown and learned so much in the past year its amazing. I am so thankful that god has given me the gift of being a mother.

Mason had so much fun at his party, he just didn't have any interest in opening his presents... But he sure did love his cake!

We love Mason more than all the M&m's in the world
