Little Man

Dear Mase,

I took all I had to actually get you your first ever hair cut when you little, I wanted you to have the long hair that made you look like MY Mason and not like every other little boy out there! Well when we first cut your hair it was maybe just like a 1/2 an inch. As you got bigger we thought ok well maybe just a little more this time, so for your first brithday we cut a good amount off here is a before and after

I think it was a major change, but I do have to say that thank goodness your hair grows fast. It didnt take long for your hair to be extremely long and all over the place, even though you did love for me to do your hair! The next major hair cut you got was around Easter weekend and it went from long to short again!

Then again we waited a long while before cutting it again, it was not until September 18, 2012 that you recieved another hair cut, and I have to admitt I kinda like the way it makes you look.

I have decided that I think we will maybe cut your hair 2 or maybe 3 times a yeah, because I love the way your hair looks when it is long and all over the place, but I also love when your hair is short because it makes you look like a little man.

Paint

Mason,
           I am not big on letting you do alot of messy crafts I figure that is for school time! But since you got a toy story paint set for your birthday, I figured why not let you paint it! Since you wouldnt let Daddy take a nap I figured that it was the perfect time to bring it out!

I started to paint with you, but then I figured that I would just let you paint both of them! And later on when we redo your room in toy story I can get the figures again and paint them again as a decoration in the room!

You were so proud of your art! I think that I might consider letting you do these types of things more often! Your next painting project will be the painting of pumpkins with Aubrie! I think we are going to make that an every year thing until you two get old enough to carve!

We love you Mason, more then all the M&M's in the world!

Happy 2nd Birthday

Dear Mason,

         It is crazy how fast time really goes! I had your party all planned out with a cool theme and everything of course your favorite it was Candy Shoppe! You love candy right now. We had to have a change in plans cause your dad couldnt get off work! We figured since you love Peter Piper that we would just have it there and of course you had a blast! I was not a very good mom and didnt get that many pictures like I had wanted to do! But here are a few for some memories!

Mason is turning 2

So I have not posted in awhile, like a long while... But here I am again!!  I cannot believe how fast time goes when you have a baby, it feels like just yesterday that I was trying everything in my power to have start my labor I wanted my baby boy out so bad! And like everyone said he would come when he was fully cooked! Well he came into this world giving us a scare, and I thank god everyday for blessing us with a healthy baby to this day!

Mason will be 2 in a couple of weeks, I went to pick him up from daycare on Friday, and they told me that they were going to start to transition him to the 2 year old room, and it took me back to exactly a year ago that day I was taking mason to daycare for the first time, and of course I cried like a baby all the way to school! Now here they were telling me that it was time for him to go to the "bigger kid room". These past 2 years have by far gone the fastest for me, I am so happy how good my baby boy is growing and how smart he is, but I miss him needing me all the time and waking me up at 2am to eat and rock him back to sleep. Now he is sleeping through night, and feeding himself!

This is Mason the day after he was born, finally off the oxygen, and we were able to hold him, and feed him, when we went in for his next feeding the nurse told us that he wasnt eating well enough and they had to give him a feeding tube! Which ment that he would need to be in hospital longer! Its crazy how they say parents will do anything for their children, well we did we even slept in the truck in the parking lot of the hospital just so we could be there for every feeding!

Mason grew so much in just one year, I couldnt believe how much he had grown!

Now Mason is 2 and growing more then I could have ever imagined, he is talking so good, and of course getting into everything. We got him 2 kittys for his birthday, and he still has some learning to do when it comes to holding them and carrying them places! But he will catch on, he is a fast learner!

Mason just know that I love more than you can ever imagine, and I cant wait to see the man you grow up to be!

Pumpkin Painting

This weekend we bought our pumpkins and instead of carving we decided that it would be better to paint them. We had Brenna and Aubrie come over and join us.

Aubrie started right away, and Mason was a little unsure at first but then he got right the art work!

Mason wanted to paint Aubrie and she didnt like that idea

Mason loved the painting idea I am glad that I thought of that...This is will the activity until he is old enough to carve.

The kids had so much fun... and of course the pumpkins were beautiful!!!

Mason decided he would eat some of the paint and thats why his lips are black!!!

We are going to be doing alot of crafts during the holidays with Brenna and Aubrie!!!

Hard Working Man

Mason loves this tractor that he got for his birthday, even though he is a little daredevil on it he is so cute.

He uses it as a step stool to try and get stuff from the entertainment center, and he tires to get in the dog cage with it... So we are thinking about getting him a power wheel for Christmas!

His litte feet dont touch the ground so he cant push himself on it, so he just sits and stands on it!!!

Its amazing how fast they grow!



Hair

Since the day that Mason was born he has had a head full of hair, we had little trims here and there done on it, and then one day we decided that we would cut it short... the biggest regret ever, I miss his hair and I would do anything to get it back... His hair has since grown back but it is not the same fine baby hair... Mason's hair is now uncontrolable... even if we put gel in his hair, it will only stay tammed until he takes a nap...

This is what Mason's hair looks like when he gets out of the bath... Like I said it is uncontrolable...

But it is the cutest hair ever!!!
